It is. Every OnHairShow wig is 100% Brazilian remy human hair — no synthetic fibres, no blends mixed in. Remy means the cuticles stay intact and all point the same way, which is the small detail that stops strands catching on each other and matting up over time. On your head it reads as hair rather than a costume: it swings naturally, picks up light the way growing hair does, and keeps its softness wash after wash instead of turning brittle and frizzy a few wears in. You can rake your fingers through it, pull it into a pony, switch up the part — it behaves like your own hair, because that is fundamentally what it is.
Can I dye, bleach or heat-style it?
Yes — it takes colour and heat much like the hair already on your head. Our suggestions: keep the iron on a moderate setting, always reach for a heat protectant, and leave any real lift or bleach work to a stylist. The hair is processed once during manufacture, so piling a second aggressive treatment on top is usually where dryness and shedding start. Going a shade or two darker is low-risk and easy enough at home; going lighter is the job worth paying a pro for. Whichever route you pick, a strand test on a hidden section first will save you a lot of second-guessing later.
Do I have to use glue?
Mostly, no. Each cap arrives with adjustable straps and combs that hook into your own hair, so the wig holds firm without any adhesive — that’s how most of our customers wear theirs straight out of the packet. If you want the flattest possible melt for an event or a shoot, the HD lace will take glue cleanly and lift back off without yanking the baby hairs out, but it’s optional rather than essential. For daily wear, glueless is quicker, much kinder to your natural hairline, and far more forgiving while you’re still finding your feet with wigs. A dab of concealer or tinted spray along the lace makes the knots vanish against pretty much any skin tone.
What does shipping cost and how long does it take?
Standard shipping is free worldwide, no minimum spend, and it typically reaches you in around 7–15 days. In a hurry? Express is a flat $25 and lands in roughly 5–10 days. Either way we email a tracking number the moment your parcel leaves us, so you can watch it all the way to your door. These are business-day estimates and can slip a touch around big holidays, or if your country’s customs decides to inspect a package — that part really is beyond us, but it’s the rare case, not the usual one.
What if it’s not right — can I return it?
You can. Drop us a message within 3 days of delivery to open a return, and you then have 14 days to get the wig back to us for a refund — provided it’s unworn and in its original condition with the lace still uncut. We know ordering hair online is a bit of a gamble, so if anything arrives damaged, wrongly labelled, or just not matching what the listing described, send over a photo and we’ll sort a replacement or a refund without the back-and-forth. We’d rather put it right than quibble over a few dollars of postage.
How do I look after it, and how long will it last?
Handle it kindly and it goes far. Wash every week or two in cool water with a sulfate-free shampoo, run a light conditioner through the mid-lengths and ends, and let it air-dry on a wig stand instead of rubbing it in a towel. Store it on the stand or tucked back into its net so the style doesn’t flatten, keep hot tools on the lower end of the dial, and work a little argan or jojoba oil through the ends whenever they feel dry. Stick to that and most of our wigs keep their shape and softness well beyond a year of regular wear — plenty of customers get a good while longer.
